Ocean Eyes Images are available to hire for weddings within Worcestershire, Warwickshire, and the West Midlands. We are currently taking last minute bookings for the end of 2008, and advance bookings for 2009 and 2010.

Ocean Eyes Images have a developed a method of wedding photography that is a combination of traditional and reportage styles.
Traditional wedding photography consists mainly of shots of family groups, and of the bride and groom together. Most of these shots will have the subjects looking into the lens of the camera, and will be formally posed.
The reportage wedding photography style is a photo journalistic approach, which aims to tell the story of your wedding day, from nerves and tears to smiles and laughter. It is to photograph somebody without them really being aware of you, while you capture the natural emotion. Reportage images should show people who look at the wedding photographs what the atmosphere was like at that moment, and a large proportion of the images will be candid shots of both the bride and groom and their guests. Fine details of items prepared especially for the wedding day will also be skillfully recorded, such as the intricate sugarcrafting on your cake, buttonholes and bouquets, shoes, jewelry and room decorations.
Ocean Eyes Images' photographers will remain unobtrusive and sensitive to the fact that it is your wedding day, and will make every effort not to interfere with your enjoyment of your day. We work with you in the run up to the wedding to make sure we take the shots you want. There are some sample shots from recent weddings on our portfolio pages for you to review. If there are any particular shots you don't want included that seem to usually be included, all you need to do it let us know and we will skip them. If there are shots that are very important to you that you don't see there, again you can make sure we know about these in advance. Once the day is over, it can't be recreated, so by meeting with you before the wedding and during the engagement shoot, we can make sure we are all on the same page about your requirements before the big day.
What you get for your money . . .
All our wedding photography packages include:
*a complimentary 'engagement' photo shoot prior to the wedding, and a complimentary 10"x8" print of your choice from the shoot.
*two photographers on your wedding day.
*a mix of reportage and traditional styles of coverage: formal group shots, posed signature shots of the bride and groom, preparations of both bride and groom, detail of all outfits / flowers / buttonholes / rings etc, detail of tables and food, detail of wedding venue, cake cutting, and the option of adding coverage of speeches, first dance, and extra family groups as required. Please see our portfolio pages for ideas on shots you would like to be included in your album.
*a designer reportage album of 25 pages, for up to 50 photographs ranging in size from 3.5"x3.5" to 10"x10" which you will help us construct.OR
*a designer digital coffee table photobook of 12 pages with an unlimited number of photographs built into the design.
*An online image gallery for you to share with friends and family. The album will be password protected, and there is an option for online purchases of photographic prints.
*printed thumbnails of all images taken on the day.
Parent Albums are also available for purchase. This is a 10"x8" hardbacked digital photobook designed from a selection of photos chosen either by the bride or groom or by their parents.
For the bride and groom who choose the designer digital coffee table book, miniature, abbreviated versions of your digital album are available for purchase by friends and family at either a size 7"x5" or 3.5"x2.5", with 12 pages in each.
How it works . . . .
On booking Ocean Eyes Images for your wedding with the 25% deposit, we will schedule your engagement photo shoot outdoors at a chosen location free of charge. This is a chance for the bride and groom to meet both photographers prior to the wedding day, and for us to see how the bride and groom react to the camera - a dry run if you like! Prints will be available for purchase, and one 10x8 print from the engagement shoot can be chosen by the bride and groom to be mounted for guests to sign as a souvenir guest signature frame on the day. A bespoke frame is also available for purchase should you wish to order one.
Within 28 days of the wedding, your photographer will meet with you to show you a full resolution DVD slideshow of the images taken at the wedding. He / she will also deliver your 'Proofs' at this meeting. 'Proofs' are unedited, unmastered images, that are not yet colour corrected and are not full resolution. They simply exist in order that you can choose your favourite images to shortlist for the album.
Your 'proofs' will consist of an A4 preview album containing approximately 300 miniature thumbnail print copies of your photographs, along with pricing and sizing information to help you make your selection. This preview album is yours to keep. For an additional fee, there is an option for you to upgrade the proof album to include larger thumbnails.
You will also receive, on loan, a copy of the DVD slideshow of all the images taken at the wedding which you can use to share viewings with friends and family, and which will make the selection of your final images easier. The images on this slideshow are watermarked with copyright information, but copies of the DVD slideshow without any copyright watermarking will be available for purchase.
Once you have chosen your favourite images, and returned the proof DVD with any additional orders, we will begin to create your album. All chosen images will be fully colour corrected at this stage, and any extra colour effects, special editing or cropping will take place now. Prints will be standard colour corrected or black and white. Customised editing to achieve extra colour effects can be provided for an additional fee.
You will then have several meetings with your photographer while we work through draft album designs together. We aim to finish the album as soon as possible after the wedding, but it will depend on how many meetings it takes as we work together on the album, and also the availability of the bride and groom for these meetings. The completed album will be delivered to you 3 weeks after the final meeting, once the final draft has been approved.

LUXURY £1175
Up to 8 hours of full coverage with two photographers, starting with the bride and grooms preparations and continuing up to and including the speeches and cake cutting.

Up to 10 hours of full coverage with two photographers, starting with the bride and grooms preparations and continuing up to and including the speeches, cake cutting the start of the evening reception and the first dance.
ON A BUDGET?
Our 'Classic' wedding package could be the one for you. . .
For only £495, you will receive 30 photos of your choice in a standard album, maximum size 8"x8", and have the full attention of one of our photographers for 4 hours. The photographs will be mainly traditional, lots of the bride and groom together, plenty of groups, and a staged cake cutting to complete the day.
Our prices are due to increase in 2009. For weddings taking place in 2009 where they are booked and the deposit is paid in 2008, the above prices will remain valid. However for weddings booked and paid for in 2009, there will be an increase.

Our prices are based on wedding venues being located within a 50 mile radius of our base. Please contact us for a quote if your venue is further afield, or to find out if your venue falls within our region.
