Family Portraiture
Ocean Eyes Images' photographers are experienced in all kinds of family portraiture. Being mums ourselves, we have a rapport with children and their parents that means we get results, every time.
Our most popular options are detailed below, and in the winter months the photo-shoots will take place in our custom built studio near Redditch. Between March and October, weather permitting, we will also spend some of the shoot time outdoors at a local park or woods capturing more natural shots.
"Stepping Stones" Package £35
This package includes four private photo-shoots spread over 12 months.
This package is the perfect gift for a new baby's arrival, a christening or a 1st birthday present. The aim of the package is to watch your child grow over the 12 months and to capture each precious stage of their development as it happens. Personalised birth announcements and thank you cards are also available, to include a photograph from the session, for an additional charge.
We are very flexible as to how the sessions are arranged within the 12 month period. Many mothers-to-be opt for the first session to be a Maternity Shoot, with the second shoot all about the newborn. The newborn sessions are intended for babies up to 3 months old. These sessions cater to the baby's needs with flexible feeding and changing times. Partners and/or siblings are welcome at no additional charge. The third shoot would ideally take place when baby is sitting, and the fourth and final shoot would be planned for when baby is standing unaided which usually falls within the 12 month period.
We will take a selection of shots of the baby / child on their own as well as with other family members during the sessions. The session fee entitles up to 4 family members to take part but we can accommodate larger numbers for a small charge of just £10 per person.
Private Portrait Sitting £25
This is a one-off private portrait sitting.
This package makes the ideal birthday present for Grandparents, or a completely original Mother's Day or Father's Day present. Alternatively, bring along fancy dress for your own unique Christmas cards.
To hire an Ocean Eyes Images photographer for family reunions, engagement photos, new baby thank you cards or whatever else you might like that special image captured for, the fee is for a single photo shoot, which will last about an hour.
We can take shots of all family / friends present in groups as well as individually. The session fee entitles up to 5 family members to take part but we can accommodate larger numbers for a small fee of just £10 per person.
MATERNITY SHOOTS
Ocean Eyes Images can provide you with treasured images of your bump as it develops. Both glamourous and personal, maternity portrait sessions can include partners and siblings, or just the mother-to-be.
Our female photographers will make you feel at comfortable and relaxed in our studio, keeping you refreshed for the session.
If you are having a maternity portrait session then it is advised to book your session for about 6-8 weeks (34-36 weeks) before your due date.
On the day of the shoot make sure you have something to eat and drink to avoid faintness, and try to avoid tight clothing that may leave elastic marks on your skin. We recommend plain clothing, in simple colours with no logos or patterns in order to emphasize your bump. If you are bringing your partner and / or other children, try and have their outfits colour co-ordinating with your own.
Whether you choose to opt for a 'Demi Moore' style pose, or to display your bump fully clothed, we will capture some stylish shots you will treasure for a lifetime after your baby is born.
The cost for a maternity portrait is just £25. This entitles up to 5 family members to take part, but we recommend keeping the shoot participants to immediate family for the best effect.
The shoot will last approximately 1 hour in the studio. We can use a choice of backdrops, and as mentioned previously, several changes of clothes if desired.
Photographic prints, acrylic mounts, or canvas prints of all your images are available at an additional cost. Please contact us for an up to date Price and Product List.

Images are available for viewing online within 10 days of the session, when you will be given details of a password protected online gallery of your images.
Any reprints / enlargements that you order will then be delivered to you within 28 days of the payment date. Canvas prints, acrylics and mounted / framed prints will also be delivered within 28 days of the payment date.
Copies of a DVD of all images taken will be available for purchase should you wish to keep a digital copy of all images taken on the shoot as a momento.
